Donations

Our Thrift Store accepts donations on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am till 2pm.
Please do not leave donations after hours.

Pickups

We are currently unable to offer pickup services at this time, due to shortage of volunteers.
If you, or know of someone willing to be a volunteer driver for a few hours/full day/2 days, please contact our store.

Available Volunteer Positions

Clothing Sorter
To assist the clothing sorters in processing donated clothing.
Merchandiser
Assist staff in keeping the store stocked and looking tidy
Receiver
Assist staff in receiving donations in a courteous manner
Electronics Tester
Test electronics in the main store to confirm functionality before they are placed for sale.
Driver / Swamper
You will assist another volunteer in picking up donations from local residents and businesses. Drivers will possess a valid Class 5 license and provide a clean drivers abstract.

All volunteers are carefully screened and trained. To volunteer, you will be required to:

  1. complete a Volunteer Registration Form,
  2. sign required policy documents,
  3. complete a RCMP Criminal Record Check (no charge),
  4. attend an intake interview with our Thrift Store manager and/or our Community Ministries Coordinator
  5. attend specific on-site training.
